When your life is changing, it can be hard to know where you fit in it.

Some transitions are exciting. Others are painful. And sometimes a change can be both.

You may be starting a new career, becoming a parent, entering or leaving a relationship, moving into a new stage of adulthood, or creating more distance from your family. From the outside, everything may look like it's moving in the right direction, yet internally you may feel uncertain, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of who you're becoming.

You might find yourself asking, “Is this really what I want?” or “Why am I struggling so much when this is supposed to be a good thing?”

Life transitions can bring up more than the immediate change. They can challenge your identity, relationships, expectations, routines, and sense of security. They may also bring old patterns to the surface, especially when you're trying to make choices that are different from what your family or others expected of you.

You don't have to be in crisis for a transition to deserve support.

Together, we'll explore what's changing, what you're carrying with you, and what you want to take with you into this next chapter. We'll make room for the uncertainty, grief, excitement, and conflicting emotions that can accompany change while helping you reconnect with what matters to you.

I integrate psychodynamic therapy, somatic approaches, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based interventions to support you through periods of change.

This may be for you if...

You find yourself:

  • Feeling overwhelmed or uncertain during a major life change

  • Questioning who you are or what you want in this next stage of life

  • Struggling with a decision about your career, relationship, family, or future

  • Feeling pressure to have everything figured out

  • Experiencing anxiety about making the “wrong” choice

  • Grieving a version of your life, identity, or relationships that is changing

  • Feeling caught between what you want and what others expect from you

  • Becoming more aware of family patterns as you create a life of your own

  • Struggling with changes in your relationships or sense of independence

  • Finding it difficult to balance caring for others with caring for yourself

  • Feeling disconnected from yourself while adjusting to new responsibilities

  • Experiencing self-doubt even when you've made choices that are right for you

  • Wanting support as you navigate a new chapter without losing yourself in the process

Transitions aren't always defined by a single event. Sometimes the transition is internal, the realization that the way you've been living no longer feels sustainable, or that the person you've become doesn't quite fit into the expectations you grew up with.
